Part 44 Beef fillet cutlet

illustrated by Saki Shiokawa

(Machine translation) Today, I want to have a richer feeling. When you are always in the house, you sometimes want to feel like you’ve been to a restaurant. Home care assistant (helper) K makes that dream come true at a reasonable price.

Ingredients (1 serving)

  1. 100 g beef, available in supermarkets, with surface cuts
  2. 1 package baby spinach
  3. Appropriate amount of flour
  4. 1 egg, beaten
  5. 50 ml milk
  6. Bread crumbs
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1 piece Parmesan cheese, grated
  9. Olive oil for frying

First, prepare cutlet batter. Add 1 egg to 50ml of milk and mix them.

Next, grate Parmesan cheese finely.

Next, put bread crumbs in a plastic bag and crush them with a stick.

Now prepare meat. The beef is tapped and pounded on both sides with the back edge of a kitchen knife (Point 1).

Put the cutlet batter on the beef. Repeat twice a cycle of the flour, the egg mix, and the bread crumbs prepared (Point 2).

Then, the beef is fried in olive oil, but you should check the temperature such that as soon as a breadcrum is added, it floats (point 3). Wait until the beef is fully fried (see the photo). After fried, remove excess oil with a paper towel.

Transfer the beef onto a plate and serve the beef cutlet with cheese and baby leafs. Together with Part 45 “White asparagus soup” and Part 46 “Watermelon lassi”, fancy lunch has been completed!
