AI ピアノ補助ペダルシステムbFaaaP(barrier-Free assist as a Pedal) によって、足に障 害を持つ方や小さな子供などが、足を使わずにペダルを操作してピアノ演奏を楽しめるようになりました。スマホのAI機能を利用し、頭部角度を検出して、ペダル駆動デバイスを操作します。頭部角度の閾値とペダルを踏む速さの2つのパラメータで自然なペダル操作を実現した特許技術 （特許第 6726319号、特許第7004771号）です。今回のbFaaaP Pro はグランドピアノのペダルを 操作します。世界中の様々な方がインクルーシブにペダルを使ったピアノ演奏を楽しめる日が来ることをbFaaaPとプラタナスのメンバーは願っています。 プラタナスメンバーによる実演の後の体験セッションでご自由にbFaaaP を試してくださいませ。
What is bFaaaP?
bFaaaP (barrier-Free assist as a Pedal) is an AI-powered piano pedal support system that allows people who have difficulty using their feet—such as individuals with physical disabilities or young children—to enjoy playing the piano without using foot pedals. By using the AI features of a smartphone, bFaaaP detects head movements to control a pedal-driving device. It uses two adjustable parameters—head angle threshold and pedal press speed—to provide a natural and expressive pedal experience. This patented technology (Japanese Patent Nos. 6726319 and 7004771) is now available in bFaaaP Pro, which is compatible with grand pianos. As bFaaaP and Platanus members, we truly hope that one day, everyone around the world will be able to enjoy inclusive piano performances with pedal expression, regardless of physical ability.
